Job Description: Looking for an Electrical Engineer who is a highly motivated, results and team-oriented individual capable of taking a concept from design to full production in a fast paced environment. A strong sense of urgency is required. Requires a thorough knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques, as well as CAD & 3D modeling (Solid Edge preferable). Devise new approaches to electrical designs, problems, prepare and/or modify drawings, specifications while ensuring work done is within any applicable codes, requirements, and timelines. Typical duties and responsibilities to include but are not limited to the following: Product development and improvement with electrical design applications Develop electrical schematics/harness/electrical component drawings Ensure consistency throughout all electrical designs and drawings Determine/troubleshoot/define solutions for electrical issues Prepare specifications for purchase of electrical materials as necessary Ability to perform assignments independently with instruction as to the general results expected Ability to provide electrical technical support as needed, analyzing data received from service, production, or parts personnel Ability to be self-sufficient and highly motivated Ability to work overtime as necessary, including occasional weekends Ability to think outside of the box, always looking at improvement and standardization of electrical documentation Working in a 12V (some 24V) DC electrical environment Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a minimum 3 years experience in electrical engineering. The company was established in 1962 and is celebrating its 50th year in business! We are located downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. We have several openings for drill rig assembly mechanics and/or service mechanics. Candidates would preferably have a minimum of 3+ year's experience in the heavy equipment machinery, diesel engine repair, and/or automotive fields. Experience with heavy equipment, hydraulics, welding, and electrical harnesses/wiring are all a plus. Mechanic's applying for this position need to supply their own tools.
