Design Features
Tubular Derrick
The 10"x16" tubular derrick construction is considerably lighter weight than traditional lattice-type derricks, while providing superior strength.
Feed System (patented)
Hydraulic cylinder/sliding gear track design, provides tremendous power (20,000 lbs. pullback), requiring less maintenance than conventional system with chains and sprockets or cables and sheaves.
Top Head Drive
A variable 2-speed/torque, floating head provides smooth operation and helps the operator recognize specific formations while drilling.
Top head hydraulically slides to the side, (off-hole) for convenience of setting casing.
Split Centralizer Table
Centralizer base plate is split in half, rear half stationary, and the front half swings out to accommodate casing and tools. Also includes an air-operated drill rod holding wrench and hydraulic breakout wrench.
Hydraulic Swing Jibs
A standard 8,000 lbs. main winch and jib to position over the hole or swing to side for efficient casing and tool handling. Rig designed for maximum 8" finished bore hole.

Hydraulics
Two axial piston hydrastatic pumps power the vehicle tracks and tophead or mud pump mud independently. An axial piston load sense pump powers the feed, winch, auxiliary and set-up functions. A cast iron gear pump provides the charge pressure and flow to circulate fresh oil into the hydrastatic pump circuits.
